Yeah, it's a mobile port, but this one boasts some things I've NEVER BEFORE SEEN.1: Ad-free. They literally just gave you the Ad-Free tavern thing...for free. There are NO ads in the PC version.2: THEY CHANGED TAP TO CLICK IN EVERY INSTANCE!. ....Why am I addicted to this game? I shouldn't be addicted to clicker games.... Why do I keep denying this is a clicker game? Yes, it has other aspects that require more thought in some actions that are much different than other clicker games, but.... it IS essentially a clicker game after a while. Still, why is this one so addicting?!....It's good. It's free. Try it.. Soda Dungeon is probably the idle game I have most enjoyed out of all the idle games I have played. I am really enjoying the art and sound design and would recommend any idle game fan try it out.. This is a great idle game. Set up your team and watch them decimate the dungeons and arenas! I have a mere 211 hours on the mobile app, but that is enough time to reach the end of the content and work on the best strategies for team\/item comps. So far the PC port is a great adaptation. It captures all the charm of the original on a much larger screen. Leave it running as you do other activities and check in later. Thank you Afro and Pox for continuing to support this, and I am looking forward to SD2!. Go to try out game... 30 hours later.Simple addictive somewhat idle dungeon crawler with light micromanagement aspects. Not pay 2 win which is amazingly rare to see, well done guys.. Soda Dungeon is probably the idle game I have most enjoyed out of all the idle games I have played. I am really enjoying the art and sound design and would recommend any idle game fan try it out.. I can't believe this game is free if I'm honest. So much content and creativity for a free to play game once you really get into it. Very addictive and whatnot.. Soda Dungeon is probably the idle game I have most enjoyed out of all the idle games I have played. I am really enjoying the art and sound design and would recommend any idle game fan try it out.. I first played it on mobile,Only played for a little bit on PC.It is the same, without ads, and of course, on a bigger screen.Pretty addictive, simple, yet fascinating. You *can* play it like a traditional, turn based RPG game,Or as a simple management game. You can attack manually, or let your party attack by themselves.Choose the gear you FIND in dungeons (or buy in the shop for dirt cheap) or let them be equipped automatically.Manage different classes, items, boosts, powers, items, in a very simple yet effective way.The best of all is you DON'T need to pay even a cent, EVERYTHING if unlockable with igc (in game currency) what you *HAVE* to do is recruit 5 adventurers, the rest is optional (and fun). Good Soundtrack, overall easy to understand, and rewarding. Patch notes 8 January 2019: New quest and journal system working. Can add quests, advance quests, display them or remove them from HUD. Quest stages have recommended levels with XP. Quest progress and journal notes get saved and loaded with your game. All working, but we still don't have any quests or journal notes in the game yet.Changed loot window slightly, moved to right side of the screen to make room for quest window. Hopefully fixed issue causing loot received to stop displaying when switching back to world map.. Patch notes 19 February 2019: Fixed crash when entering Scrapyard arena battle.Fixed bug where new armor was not showing up on portrait in equipment vendors' fitting room.Fixed some issues with flickering while fading to black or fading in.Made new compass gizmo for world map HUD. It has tooltips for food and rest.Fixed bug with zero food variety to be detected on game load.. Patch notes 7 Jan 2019: Please note the controls have changed! Default controls are now Q and E to rotate the camera. Spacebar to interact with things. Now Himeko Sutori isn't going to mess up your XCOM reflexes. We had to change a few lines of dialog to match the new controls. We fixed a few sound effects. Some of them were playing too loudly because for whatever reason our envelop sound node wasn't working. We've added more code for crash testing. If your game is crashing when your camera swings behind a wall or building or something, please use the console command "SetLogCamera true" then crash the game and send us the logs! We really need your help if we're going to fix this. After you've crashed the game, please use the console command "SetUseAlternateTranslucentMat true" to play the game, albeit with stuff that occasionally blocks the camera. We have added a lot to the quest system. It still has a lot of bugs, but it's mostly working. We still need to add quests and journal entries to the game.We fixed a couple minor typos. We replaced the (C) and (R) with actual © and ® in the legalese. And we changed the victory screen a little bit.. Patch notes 6 Jan 2019: Added most of the functionality for our quest and journal system, but there are no quests or journal entries in the game yet.Added a little more code to try to catch that camera-crash bug.. Monthly update, June: Bug fixes, better night lighting, crafting: We just fixed the last game-breaking bug that we were aware of. We still have some more bugs to fix (most obviously some dialog issues with the new characters in town), but we're in a good place for right now. We'll continue testing and patching for the next couple of days before we get back to larger content updates. As for stuff we added during June, we improved the look of the world with rim lighting. It really helps make the world look more interesting, especially at night. We are integrating crafting all over the place, with more crafting stations, vendors, and loot drops. And we continue adding more areas to explore and more enemies to fight. You can read the latest news in detail over at our Kickstarter page.. Patch notes 24 February 2019: After selling something, your inventory no longer scrolls back to the top.In the crafting menu, moved the equipment/supplies button to the top of the screen where it's more obvious and next to the filter buttons.Characters who have mastered a character class no longer display a level-up star in the lance setup menu.Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze when opening an equipment vendor's window.Fixed a bug that would cause the camera to not load if you saved the game inside the Ellismuir workshop.. Patch notes 7 April 2019: Sorry for the lack of updates over the last couple of days. I got stuck trying to implement Steam input, which would allow you to play the game with any controller. Due to some unforeseen complications with the ancient UE3 source code and the new Steamworks SDK, I'm going to shelve controller support for right now. I'll revisit the issue in the future and I'll have some other people take a look at the code for me too.But for today's update, you can now rearrange your army from the pause menu. Just click and drag your characters to put them in any order you want.If I can add anything else today, I'll come back and edit this post.Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention this earlier. We also fixed the issue where if you talk to a vendor while holding down a movement button, you would keep walking that direction after closing the vendor window. It was because the game didn't register the key-up when the vendor window opens, so it thought the key was still down when the window closed. We now force a key-up when you talk to a vendor, so movement goes back to normal after talking to a vendor. This also fixed the issue where you would sometimes have to press the spacebar twice to interact with things.. Patch notes 12 Jan 2019: Hey everyone, if you've already installed the game, you'll need to verify the integrity of your game files. There are a couple of config files you'll need to update, and they won't update unless you verify the integrity of the game files.Today we added more code to catch that camera-crash bug.We also fixed a bug that could cause part of the intro to play multiple times. We added a function to save whether or not you want to see translucent materials when a building or something occludes your character from the camera. From now on, use "SetUseTranslucentMaterialSwitch false" if camera movement is crashing your game. Everyone else should have it set to true automatically (it should be set to true if you update your game files), but you can set it to true manually with the console command "SetUseTranslucentMaterialSwitch true." Either way, the game will remember your preference.Edit: Also made the game autosave before going into caves, mines, and similar combat zones that don't have an army on the world map. Also fixed a bug causing quest progress to halt if you defeat a bandit army before talking to the village elders in Ellismuir.
